About Proton VPN
Proton VPN is built around privacy. Based in Switzerland with strong privacy laws, its apps are fully open-source and independently audited, and features like Secure Core (routing through hardened servers) and NetShield add protection. Uniquely, its free plan offers unlimited data (on a limited set of servers) with no ads, rare among reputable VPNs. Paid plans add speed, streaming support and more servers. The top pick when privacy is the priority.
